About Past Paper Hub
A free library of Edexcel IGCSE and IAL past papers, built because finding them shouldn't be the hard part of revision.
Why this exists
Anyone who has revised for an Edexcel exam knows the routine: you want the January 2023 Physics Unit 1 paper and the mark scheme that goes with it, and instead you spend twenty minutes in a maze of forum posts, dead links and folders inside folders. Time you meant to spend practising goes on hunting.
Past Paper Hub started as a small collection shared between students in Sri Lanka and grew into something bigger. Today it holds 2,347 papers across 23 subjects, covering every sitting from January 2014 to May 2024 — both the old and new syllabus, question papers and mark schemes together.
What you'll find here
- IGCSE and IAL past papers — 14 IGCSE subjects and 10 IAL subjects, old and new specification
- Mark schemes alongside every paper, not buried somewhere separate
- Grade boundaries so you can work out what a score actually means
- A focus timer that splits your revision into work periods and breaks
- Exam timetables and a countdown to the next sitting
How it stays free
Every paper on this site is free to read and download. No account, no paywall, no download limit. That isn't going to change.
Running the site does cost money, so two things pay for it: advertising, and a small shop selling printed booklets, revision notes and study materials. If you never buy anything, the site still works exactly the same for you.
Past Paper Hub is an independent study resource with no affiliation to Pearson Education Ltd. Edexcel, IGCSE and International A Level are their trademarks. Past papers and mark schemes remain their copyright and are collected here for students to study from. If you are a rights holder with a concern, please get in touch and we'll respond quickly.
Where the papers come from
Papers are gathered from publicly available Edexcel releases and checked before they go up. Filenames are decoded so each paper is tagged with its subject code, unit, session and year — that's how the search finds things in seconds instead of making you click through folders.
Spotted something wrong, or a paper we're missing? Tell us and it usually goes up within a few days.
Who runs it
A small team, based in Sri Lanka, who all sat these exams. Students write to us most days with corrections and requests, and that feedback is what has shaped the site more than anything else.
